2022 Wrapped Up

Our December Newsletter

Hey, can you believe it’s already December! We are so excited to share with you some cozy news from Arora Dental. Also, don’t forget to turn on images as there are lots of pictures coming up.

1) All decked Out For The Holidays.

The elves at Arora Dental have been hard at work making your dental home all warm, cozy and spectacular.

As it gets cold outside, nothing beats a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate. Just know that we are brewing a hot cup for you when you come in.

The elves also wrapped each dental suite like a beautiful present.

Can you tell that we are super excited about the holidays.

2) End of Year Reminders

  • We will close for the holidays starting December 24th and we are back on Jan 3rd. But don’t worry, for any dental emergencies over the holidays you will have access to our virtual care and in-person if needed.

  • If you have pending dental care (especially if you have dental benefits) I recommend booking an appointment asap (Call 519-340-2222 or visit http://aroradental.com) as we don’t want you to miss out on using your benefits before the year ends.

  • Lastly, please do tell your friends and family how much you love and care for them over the holidays!

3) Thank You

I want to say thank you for trusting in us with your health and well-being. We are so grateful for the amount of love you have given us in our short amount of time.

I want to highlight a recent Google review we received that highlights our mission to create smiles with love.

“I have found my Forever Dentist! I walked into Arora Dental today a nervous wreck after spending a week in pain. The staff greeted me with welcoming smiles into their beautifully appointed reception and waiting area. I was offered a refreshment while i filled out my "New Patient" paperwork which was made so much easier by being on a tablet.

I was seen immediately by Dr. Sanya Arora. Dr. Arora knew I was nervous and took a few nice moment to just ask about who I am, my family and my work and then offered the same information to me about herself. This was a wonderful introduction, such a progressive approach to medicine, it also provided an opportunity for me to calm down and settle into the cool laid back rhythm of the office. As it turned out in my case this visit, the cause of my pain was not a cavity or a bad tooth, rather, it was tension in my jaw.

After a couple of x-rays to be sure, Dr. Arora used a great massage technique to help release the tension in the muscles. The massage was amazing, Dr. Arora was amazing, the visit was amazing. I am going back next week for a regular check up and cleaning and I can't believe I'm saying this, but, I'm looking forward to it! Thank you to everyone at Arora Dental, you are all so very deserving of a great review.”

4) Anne’s Awesome Turkey Recipe for December.

If you are like me, the holidays are all about the family and cooking! The Turkey is always the focal point of the table so it needs to look good. This simple rub is the best and you will never need another one.

Line your roasting pot with celery and onions cut in half (I use sweet onions). Pour 1/2 to 3/4 bottle of white wine and let it marinate for an hour. While the base is marinating start your rub

2 tbl spoons of minced Sage, Thyme, Rosemary and garlic( I use fresh herbs only). Add 1/2 tbl spoon of course salt and 1 tbl spoon of pepper, 1 tbl spoon of dry mustard. Soften 1/2 cup of butter (do not melt it) and add 2 tbl spoons of lemon juice to the butter and combine them together. Add all the herbs and garlic mixture to the butter and mix well. Let mixture marinate for 2 hours.

Wash and clean the turkey and make sure skin is dry before basting. Make sure that some of that rub gets under the skin. Don't skimp and use all the rub on the turkey. If you have a extra large turkey make more of the rub. This turkey will come out so tender, juicy and have a lovely brown crispy skin.
