Happy Halloween 👻! Without further ado, here are some of the highlights from Arora Dental for this month.

1) New Milestones For Our Clinic.

We are almost 5 months old at Arora Dental. To celebrate the team and showcase our humour we did a photoshoot with Kaay @ CB Photography from Brantford.

We are so very excited to welcome a new dentist to our clinic, Dr. Sanya Arora, who is also my sister. She is kind, generous, talented and treats every patient like family. I believe these qualities make her the perfect fit for Arora Dental.

OMG! We are already over 80 5-star reviews on Google reviews. Thank you to everyone who has shared your feedback with us and helped spread the word about our practice. Your referrals help us reach more people and help us create more smiles, so please keep telling your friends and family about us :)

2) Giving Back To Our Community

We are doing a pancake breakfast and treats drive-thru tomorrow morning (Nov. 1st) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. we will be in our costumes so come hang out with us.

We hosted more Mouthguard clinic at the practice for the Paris Minor Hockey League to get kids custom sports guards to protect their teeth. We partnered with our amazing dental lab Caley Ortho for this opportunity.

Also, I am really enjoying the opportunity to coach at the Brantford City Soccer Club. We have played 3 games so far and had 2 practices outside of our scheduled games. I am so thankful for the work both the kids and the parents have done to make the team work better together.

3) Anne’s Fresh & Healthy Recipes

Happy fall everyone. We have been very busy at Arora Dental. If you haven’t been in the office lately, you should come by for  some candy and see how Spooktacular it looks all decorated for Halloween.

One of my favourite time of year is the fall. I love everything about it from the warm cozy sweaters and hats, the stunning colours of the leaves changing and of course all the wonderful different types of apples that are ready to be harvested. I love nothing better than to be in the kitchen on a brisk fall day making one of my favourite desserts…..Apple Crisp. I can just smell the cinnamon and apples baking now. It’s just such a warm delicious end to that Sunday Roast. This is one of my favourite recipes and I hope you will enjoy it as well.

Mom's Apple Crisp

Serves 4-6

4 golden delicious or Granny Smith apples

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Topping:

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup brown sugar

2 cup Quaker Oats

2/3 cup melted butter

Peel, core and slice the apples into eighths or sixteenths. Place them in a bowl with the ground cinnamon, and gently toss to coat then pour into an 8-inch square pyrex dish, or similar. For the topping, mix the flour and brown sugar in a large bowl, then add the Quaker Oats and mix well. Pour the melted butter over the mixture and again, mix well. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples and bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum.

Lastly, Here is a fun videos from around the practice to entertain you.
